Venue
$3,500 per event day (starting base price)
Technical/stagehand staff
Lucas Theatre for the Arts is a professional stagehand union house. Labor rates vary on skill needs. An increased rate will be used for recording or broadcast. Additionally, overtime rates apply on holidays or after eight hours. Use of house equipment is included in venue rental. All events are also subject to a minimum $1,000 tech director fee.
Additional facility/events fees
Housekeeping, house management, and security are not included in the base rental price and will be charged at an hourly rate, as completed. Lessees will receive a quote.
SCAD Box Office fees
Any ticketed events at the Lucas Theatre are required to use the SCAD Box Office.
Ticket charge
A $1.50 to $4.50 service charge, depending on ticket pricing, per ticket issued will be deducted from gross revenue.
Sales tax
7% sales tax is deducted from gross revenue.
