Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is the inspiring story of singer-songwriter sensation Carole King and her climb to international success, with a songbook that features well-known, chart-topping hits that she, Gerry Goffin, and their fellow contemporaries wrote for music superstars: The Shirelles, The Righteous Brothers, The Drifters, Aretha Franklin, and The Monkees.

Beautiful takes audiences on a journey inside the music during one of the most transformational times in our history. The musical is a nostalgic walk down memory lane for those familiar with King's work, and a story of personal triumph for those new to her world, illustrating the power of one of society's most unifying healers — music.

Presented by the SCAD School of Film and Acting, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is directed by Tiffany Evariste with choreography by Annie Bridges. Written by Douglas McGrath with music by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, the production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Tickets are $5 for SCAD Card holders; $15 for seniors, military, students; $20 for general public. The Thursday, March 7th performance is free for all SCAD card holders.
