Lucas Centennial Summer: Dirty Dancing
Dirty Dancing set the standard for dance and romance films upon its release 35 years ago — and left all of us yearning to nail that lift with leading man Patrick Swayze. Set at a Catskills resort in the early 1960s, the film traces the love story of Johnny (Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey) as they break down class barriers and light the dance floor on fire. Join us as the Lucas Theatre for the Arts is transformed into Kellerman's for a night, where absolutely no one will be put in a corner. Watermelon drinks on special!
Tickets are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military; $8 general admission; or buy a pass to the entire series for $40.
