One of the most beloved and celebrated films in Disney's history, The Lion King follows Simba, a young lion cub growing up in the pride lands of Africa. When his uncle Scar seizes the proverbial throne, Simba undertakes a long journey to learn what it takes to be king. A two-time Oscar winner, its lush animation, undeniably catchy songs, eye-popping thrills, and resonant emotional core ensures this film still ranks as an absolute triumph nearly 30 years after its premiere. 

Tickets for the film, part of the Disney Summer Classics series, are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military, and $8 for the general public. Children ages 12 and under receive free admission.
