BAM! A Celebration of Black Artists in Music
SCAD’s acclaimed concert series celebrating Black History Month and Black musical artists is back once again! This year, BAM! (Black Artists in Music) will honor the influential voices of Black musical artists and their monumental contributions to film in magnetic concerts featuring Grammy Award, Emmy Award, and Tony Award-nominated performers from Broadway, film, and TV.
The SCAD Bee Sharps, the university’s premier vocal ensemble, will join the celebrity lineup alongside star SCAD alumni and students. With iconic hit songs from culture-defining Black artists in gospel, jazz, R&B, soul, spiritual, and blues, as well as spoken word and dance, these uplifting, inspiring, and joyous concert experiences spotlight the rich traditions and innovations of Black music and its influence on the world.
